The Centre offers many different types of workshops and group counselling. You will be asked to consult with us so that we can share what the group or workshop is about and how you might fit in with a group setting. We offer psycho-educational groups and workshops, therapeutic groups, and expressive arts groups. Please fill in a Request For Service Form to begin this process.

Wisdom in Grounding Self is a new 4-week therapeutic practice group focused on mindfulness, grounding, body awareness and self-compassion.

Purls of Wisdom is a weekly multi-generational knitting circle that involves older women who have been trained by the Centre to provide mentorship, leadership and wisdom to young people who have experienced trauma. This intergenerational knitting circle will offer valuable skills and strategies that can assist young people with managing stress and anxiety.
When: Tuesdays-weekly (starting September 2017) Time: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Where: Library, Fleming College Sutherland Campus Registration: Free and open to young people aged 16-25. No knitting experience required. All material provided. Drop-in or weekly attendance are welcome.
Weaving Our Voices expressive arts group for survivors of sexual violence, is a 12-week series for women inspiring healing through art and sharing.
